Registry

Over the past year, we’ve worked diligently together to eliminate duplicates, triplicates and quadruplicates of all the household basics and then some in order to squeeze into our lovely new home.  A typical gift registry would be a landslide backwards.  However, we certainly understand the joy of giving and—although, truly, no gift is expected but your love and support on our wedding day—we have brainstormed some creative alternatives that would make us equally happy if you insist.

1. We love giving too!  You could do us no greater honor than to make a nonprofit donation in our name. We recommend:

For more ideas, here is the best source for local nonprofits: thegivingpartner.org.

2. To up the ante of our adventures together (and to potentially bring along on our honeymoon), we would love a modest contribution to pick out the following:

  • For Krishen, mostly, a digital SLR camera with accessories because an iPhone, though always in his pocket, can only do so much.
  • For Christina, mostly, a scooter to zip the adorable couple around town to new and favorite places.

For these items, we are collecting cold, digital cash via SimpleRegistry.  A snail mail check to us at home works too. The bride humbly requests that you do not pin money on her the day of the wedding and, if you simply cannot resist, please pin Krishen instead.

3.  Looking for something more traditional?  Krishen and Christina collect the Corelle flatware from their childhoods as well as vintage milk glass.  If you are up for the challenge, the patterns are below.

  • Krishen’s Corelle pattern is Indian Summer (1977)
  • Christina’s Corelle pattern is Spring Blossom Green (1970)
  • Christina’s favorite milk glass is Fenton Hobnail.

Much love and thank you in advance!
